#2: Vegan Chickpea Burgers
Second on the to-do list was the vegan chickpea burgers. This was our first time making these and it took a WHOLE lot longer than I expected it to take, but it was well worth the time spent preparing. The recipe calls for chickpeas (of course), potatoes, and red peppers among other things. In this picture I am preparing the potatoes to be baked.
Here, my brother Michael is assisting me by opening a chickpea can! Near the end he had a bit of a problem, but after fiddling around with it, we managed to remove the metal lid and continue preparing the burgers!
